Minimum Skills/Requirements
Two to three years college level courses/Associate's Degree/Diploma in Nursing. RN License required. One to three years experience in Nursing. Occupational Health experience
preferred.
Primary Job Functions
-Developsandmaintains established employee health related policies and procedures, objectives.
-Computer skills are needed to maintain databases in excel.
-Develops and maintains data for reporting needlesticks and TB statistics to internal customers
-Performs PHS employee testing, collects blood and appropriate lab tests as needed.
-Represents Employee Health at Infection Control and PandT committees; attends other committees as requested.
-Administers Hepatitis B vaccines, flu shots, TB tests and other medications as directed by physician or established protocols for PHS employees.
-Provides healthcare instructions and health education to PHS employees as needed.
-Participates in educational programs, reviews current literature and attends inservices, meetings, and workshops to enhance professional growth and development.
-Collaborates with HR disability management as needed.
-Performs other functions as required.
